About the Event

The Freedom Run Wageningen is more than a running event: it is a celebration of freedom and connection. In the city of liberation on May 5, 1945, we run for each other and for equal opportunities. The Lions Club Wageningen organizes the run for the benefit of Stichting Kind en Kans (Child and Opportunity Foundation), which enables children from low-income families to participate in school activities. Everyone is welcome to run for freedom and a future where no child is left on the sidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my time be registered?

Yes, your time will be accurately recorded via a Race Result bib tag integrated into your bib number. Time registration takes place at the start/finish, and for the 15k and 21k, there is an additional live intermediate registration at 6km before the finish.

Where can I park?

We expect as many visitors as possible to come to the event by public transport or bicycle. There is ample parking space in the vicinity of the start and finish area. From the nearby car parks P1, P2 or P3, you can walk to the start/finish area at Visum Mundi in 5 minutes.

How much is the registration fee?

The registration fee is € 15 and is the same for all distances.

How do you ensure a safe event?

Lions Club Wageningen has received an event permit for its organization and is committed to complying with all components of the safety plan.

Do I receive a medal afterward?

For a payment of €5, you will receive a medal!

Can I order a T-shirt?

Yes, if you are a participant, you can order a shirt in your size with your registration. You can find this year's edition shirt here.
